In the 1976 classic Rocky, Sylvester Stallone stars as the "Italian Stallion" Rocky Balboa, who was a struggling boxer who worked as a debt collector in Philadelphia. When heavyweight champion Apollo Creed visited Philadelphia, and his original fight was cancelled, Creed wanted to set up an exhibition match for a nobody to become a somebody. It was meant to be an easy fight for Creed, but Rocky Balboa wanted to prove to himself that he could go the distance with Creed. Rocky proved to have the spirit of a champion, as he won the hearts of audiences everywhere.
